Tell us about your education background & about your teaching/work experience.
I graduated with a degree in Inclusive Early Childhood Education from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2019. For the past 2 years, I worked at Educare Lincoln as a lead teacher. This will be my second year teaching 5th grade at St. Stephen the Martyr!
What do you love about your job?
I love seeing how much my students achieve and grow throughout the year!
Who is your favorite Saint or what is your favorite scripture?
1 Corinthians 13:4-5: Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
Tell us about your family (spouse, children, grandchildren, pets, etc.):
My family includes my parents and one older brother. I always had pets growing up. Currently, I have one cat and am hoping to get another one soon 🙂
When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I always wanted to be a nurse or a teacher
What is your favorite sweet treat?
I love anything with chocolate, especially Reese’s
Do you have any hidden talents or hobbies?
I love going on walks and playing volleyball
What’s your favorite thing to do on the weekends?
On weekends I usually go shopping with friends or hang out with my family.
