Tell us about your educational background & your teaching/work experience.
I have been an at home mother for 15 years to 8 amazing children. I have my Associates Degree in General Studies, Bachelors Degree in Multidisciplinary Studies, and Master’s in Secondary Education.
What do you love about your job?
I love being able to talk to others about God!
Who is your favorite Saint or what is your favorite scripture?
My favorite scripture is Hebrews 11:1 “Faith is the substance of things hoped for, and evidence of things unseen”
Tell us about your family (spouse, children, grandchildren, pets, etc.):
My husband and I have been married for 27 years! We have eight children Hope (26), Faith (20), Adonis II. (18), Asher (16), London (15), Elijah (13), Azariah (11), and Ezekiel (9). We also have a son in law Ty-Shon and a grandson Ty-Shon II. Our fur babies are Sunny and Chico (Chihuahua’s) and Louis (French bulldog)
When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to be a mommy and a teacher.
What is your favorite sweet treat?
Ice cream
Do you have any hidden talents or hobbies?
I enjoy DIY projects and crafting!
What’s your favorite thing to do on the weekends?
My favorite thing to do is to hang out with my family.
What piece of advice would you give parents to help their child(ren) succeed at St. Stephen?
I promote student independence by setting achievable goals and encouraging them to advocate for themselves for example, by asking questions and seeking help when they encounter learning challenges.
