Tell us about your education background & about your teaching/work experience.
I have a bachelor's degree in elementary education and special education. Also, I have a master's in special education. I have taught in Texas, Elkhorn, and at St. Bernadette.
What do you love about your job?
I love working with kids everyday!
Who is your favorite Saint or what is your favorite scripture?
My favorite Saint is St. Francis of Assisi.
Tell us about your family (spouse, children, grandchildren, pets, etc.):
I met my husband while vacationing with friends and family. We have 14-year twin daughters who are freshmen in high school, and a Redbone Coonhound named Bruno.
When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
A teacher
What is your favorite sweet treat?
Cookies
Do you have any hidden talents or hobbies?
I enjoy painting.
What’s your favorite thing to do on the weekends?
My favorite thing to do is go hiking or spend time with my family and friends.
What piece of advice would you give parents to help their child(ren) succeed at St. Stephen?
I would suggest making reading at home a part of your child's daily routine.
