What year did you start working at St. Stephen?
2021
Tell us about your education background & about your teaching/work experience.
I started working at SSM in March of 2021 as a Kindergarten TA. Previously I was a stay at home mother for 21 years. However, I did work as a USA Swimming Coach for 5 years.
What do you love about your job?
I love working with the children! Seeing them grow and develop over the year is what makes my job fun!
Who is your favorite Saint or what is your favorite scripture?
St. Anthony. I lose a lot of things!
Tell us about your family (spouse, children, grandchildren, pets, etc.):
When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I always wanted to be a stay-at-home mother which I became! Now, with my kids all in school, I feel like my talents can be used elsewhere which led me to SSM. Nurturing children is one of my life’s passions.
What is your favorite sweet treat?
Peanut M&Ms
Do you have any hidden talents or hobbies?
I am a certified USA Swimming coach and have led many of my swimmers to state titles!/br>
What’s your favorite thing to do on the weekends?
I love to go to Husker football games not only to watch the team but to cheer on my daughter who plays in the Cornhusker Marching Band! GBR!
What piece of advice would you give parents to help their child(ren) succeed at St. Stephen?
You have the best teachers in the world here at SSM! Don’t be afraid to contact your child’s teacher. We are here for you and your child!
