What do you love about your job?
I love that my job allows me to be a vessel of God’s love and share my faith with my students each day.

Who is your favorite Saint or what is your favorite scripture?
Romans 5:3-5. “Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us.”

Tell us about your family (spouse, children, grandchildren, pets, etc.):
My husband, Keith, and I have four wonderful kiddos: Wyatt, Avery, Nolan, and Ryder. They keep us busy and make life a whole lot of fun!

When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I always knew I wanted to be a teacher. My parents even bought me my own chalkboard for my bedroom “school!”

What is your favorite sweet treat?
I love ice cream!

Do you have any hidden talents or hobbies?
I love to read, run, bake, shop, and spend time outdoors. I also won a hula hooping competition in 2nd grade. 🙂

What’s your favorite thing to do on the weekends?
I love to spend time with my family, go to my kids’ sporting events, and frequent Target.

What piece of advice would you give parents to help their child(ren) succeed at St. Stephen?
There are many great opportunities for parents to become more involved in our school and/or parish, such as volunteering in the classroom, enrolling your child in youth sports, or joining a parish group. These are excellent ways to feel more connected with the other amazing families and staff in our SSM community!
