Tell us about your education background & about your teaching/work experience.
Education: Colorado State University and University of Nebraska at Omaha
Work Experience: St. Patrick’s Catholic School and CUES School System

What do you love about your job?
I love exploring our world through language and culture! Helping students connect Spanish curriculum to their own experiences through art, music and kinesthetic movement.

Who is your favorite Saint or what is your favorite scripture?
Blessed Saint Kateri Tekakwitha: saint of ecology, environment and Native Americans

Tell us about your family (spouse, children, grandchildren, pets, etc.):
Together my husband and I have 5 young adult children. They are in college or just recently graduated and life is very fun when we are all together!

When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I always loved the Spanish language and culture and wanted to encourage students to learn it through fun and engaging activities.

What is your favorite sweet treat?
Dark Chocolate

Do you have any hidden talents or hobbies?
I love ballet and the performing arts.

What’s your favorite thing to do on the weekends?
Dining out at all of Omaha’s fine restaurants with my husband!

What piece of advice would you give parents to help their child(ren) succeed at St. Stephen?
Help to balance academics, extra-curricular activities, play-time and rest:)
