2018
Tell us about your educational background & about your teaching/work experience.
I graduated from Chadron State College, received my Masters in Education from Peru State College and recently graduated with my Masters in Science of Education Leadership from Creighton University. All but one year of my teaching career has been in the Catholic Schools.
What do you love most about the St. Stephen the Martyr Catholic School community?
How the parents go out of their way to show support to the teachers.
What piece of advice would you give parents to help their child(ren) succeed at St. Stephen?
To be themselves and that it is okay to make mistakes.
What, in your experience, is the best part about teaching at a Catholic school?
To be able to share my faith with my students.
Who is your favorite Saint or what is your favorite scripture?
St. Patrick
Tell us about your family (spouse, children, grandchildren, pets, etc.):
My husband Jim and I have two children. Our daughter, Makayla is a pharmacy student at UNMC and will graduate this year. Our son and daughter-in-law Matthew and Trinity live here in Omaha. We also have two spoiled dogs at home and a granddog and grandcat that we also spoil.
