What year did you start working at St. Stephen?
2018

Tell us about your education background & about your teaching/work experience.
I graduated from Chadron State College, received my Masters in Education from Peru State College and recently graduated with my Masters in Science of Education Leadership from Creighton University. All but one year of my teaching career has been in the Catholic Schools.

What do you love about your job?
I love to see that moment when a student understands something for the first time.

Who is your favorite Saint or what is your favorite scripture?
St. Patrick

Tell us about your family (spouse, children, grandchildren, pets, etc.):
My husband and I have 2 children, who are both in college. We also have 3 spoiled dogs.

When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
When I was in 2nd grade I wanted to be a teacher when I grew up.

What’s your favorite thing to do on the weekends?
Spend time with my family and being outside at the lake.

What piece of advice would you give parents to help their child(ren) succeed at St. Stephen?
To be themselves and that it is okay to make mistakes.
