Tell us about your experience in education

I have a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, an Endorsement in Middle School Math, and a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction. I started at SSM right out of college and this will be my 5th year here!

What do you love most about the St. Stephen the Martyr Catholic School community?
That it feels like home. Everyone is so welcoming and supportive of each other.

What piece of advice would you give parents to help their child(ren) succeed at St. Stephen?
Always remember to lead with kindness, practice compassion, and show patience.

What, in your experience, is the best part about teaching at a Catholic school?

It is amazing to be able to add my faith into my teaching and my classroom.

Who is your favorite Saint or what is your favorite scripture?
My favorite Saint is Saint Teresa of Calcutta. My favorite scripture is “Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.” 1 Peter 5:7

Tell us about your family (spouse, children, grandchildren, pets, etc.):
I married my husband, Alec, in July 2023 here at SSM! We have been blessed with our son, Bennett, who arrived in May 2025! We also have two cats now, a black cat named Sprinkles and a calico named Ember.

What is your favorite sweet treat?
Double stuffed Oreos are my go-to!

What is your favorite coffee/drink order?

I love the Beanery Mocha!
