SSM Volleyball is open to all girls registered as parishioners and currently enrolled in St. Stephen grade school or Religious Education programs in grades 3-8. We welcome athletes of all abilities, including multi-sport athletes.

Registration for the 2025 season is now open. The registration deadline was Friday, May 2nd. Per-student player fees are $100.00 (Grades 4-8), $120 (Grade 3). Registrations received after May 2nd are subject to a $25.00 late registration fee.
All new 3rd-grade players will purchase a short-sleeve dri-fit t-shirt uniform for $20 rather than the more expensive longer-sleeve uniforms worn by older student-athletes. This short-sleeve uniform style will carry with this age group through 5th grade, at which point they will transition to the more expensive long-sleeve uniform style currently worn by older student-athletes in our program. The $20 uniform cost is reflected in the registration cost for 3rd-grade players.
Those players in 4th through 8th grade will continue to wear the long-sleeve style uniform given all returning players will have already purchased this uniform previously. New players in 4th through 8th grade will be required to purchase the long-sleeve uniform style as well in order to match their teammates ($45). Orders for these uniforms will be taken at a later date and is not included in the registration price for 4th through 8th grade.
Tryouts (times subject to change) will be held at St. Stephen the Martyr as follows:
Saturday, May 10, 2025
- 3rd – 9:00 – 9:45 AM
- 4th – 10:00 – 10:45 AM
- 5th – 11:00 – 11:45 AM
- 6th – 12:30 – 1:15 PM
- 7th – 1:30 – 2:15 PM
- 8th – 2:30 – 3:15 PM
Notes About Tryouts:
- Everyone makes a team. This is for placement only!
- Please check in 15 minutes prior to the start time.
- Tryouts will run approximately 45 minutes per grade.
- YOU CANNOT SHOW UP AT A DIFFERENT TIME! If you cannot make the tryout for your upcoming grade, we understand and will do our best on placing girls for the best fit!
- Parents are not allowed in the gym to watch.
- Try to wear a plain white t-shirt. We will PIN numbers on the girls.
Practices and games start in August.
