What year did you start working at St. Stephen?
2024

Tell us about your educational background & your teaching/work experience.
I graduated from Omaha’s College of Saint Mary with a degree in art education. I began my teaching career in Bellevue Public Schools before being welcomed here!

What do you love about your job?
Teaching my passion in life while being able to plan projects that excite my students’ interests and support their creative thinking.

Who is your favorite Saint or what is your favorite scripture?
Mother Mary

Tell us about your family (spouse, children, grandchildren, pets, etc.):
I’m very close with my siblings, my parents, and my grandparents; all of who reside in the Pacific Northwest.

When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
When I was a kid, I wanted to be an Orthodontist (until I took art classes in High School)

What is your favorite sweet treat?
Blueberries (ALL berries)

Do you have any hidden talents or hobbies?
I can dance the Hula

What’s your favorite thing to do on the weekends?
Workout classes, spending time with friends, reading at coffee shops, and learning new things

What piece of advice would you give parents to help their child(ren) succeed at St. Stephen?
Sleep is the single best thing we can do, young or old, to reset our brain and body each day.
