Alumni Feature: Erica Smith, Class of 1996

Erica’s Story:

“After graduating from SSM in 1996, I continued my catholic education at Skutt Catholic High School and then went on to graduate from the University of Nebraska Omaha with a master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology. My husband Patrick and I married in 2008 and welcomed two beautiful children into the world. We chose SSM for our children because we wanted an education centered around God where our children would feel comfortable to share their beliefs and faith as they grow their mind academically. We wanted a place where prayer and service to others were incorporated daily. Finally, we wanted to be part of a tight-knit community where our kids felt a sense of belonging and would see examples of their faith being lived out by their fellow classmates, parents, and faculty.”

Are you a graduate of St. Stephen the Martyr Catholic School? We’d love to hear from you! We are celebrating our school’s 30th anniversary this year and would like to feature alumni stories throughout the year to share with our current families. We would love to get at least one graduate from each of the last 30 years. If you are willing to be featured please fill out this Google Form.
