Register to play PAL Basketball at St. Stephen the Martyr! SSM Basketball is open to all registered parishioners and students in grades 4th-8th for boys and girls. We welcome students of all capacities and those also enrolled in other sports.
Registration for the 2025-2026 season is closed.
2025-2026 Information
- Registration Fees: $105.00 per player. No refunds after tryouts.
- Late Registration Fee: Registrations received after this date will be subject to late fees, and may result in missing tryouts and not being placed on a team best suited to your student’s skill level.
- Unreturned Uniform Fee: All players will be provided with St. Stephen the Martyr issued uniforms that are to be returned at the end of the season. Failure to return your uniform by the return deadline (date to be communicated later in the season) will result in an $85 fee, which is the cost to replace the uniform.
- Boys tryouts will be held October 11th & 12th at St. Stephen the Martyr Gym as listed below. To ensure accurate team placement and a fair evaluation, it is imperative that all players attend tryouts.
- Saturday, October 11th
- 7th Grade Boys: 5:30 – 6:30
- 8th Grade Boys: 6:40 – 7:4
- Sunday, October 12th
- 4th Grade Boys: 5:30 – 6:30
- 5th Grade Boys: 6:40 – 7:40
- 6th Grade Boys: 7:50 – 8:50
- Saturday, October 11th
- Girls’ Tryouts: In recent years SSM has had a low turnout for girls’ basketball, so the girls’ tryout date (if needed) will be finalized once it is determined how many are signed up. You will be notified by e-mail of the girls’ tryout date, if needed, after registration closes.
