I have been teaching music at St. Stephen the Martyr since 2013.
What do you love most about the St. Stephen the Martyr Catholic School community?
I love how much support you have from administration, teachers, and parents. Everyone is so helpful!
What piece of advice would you give parents to help their child(ren) succeed at St. Stephen?
Ask how you can help and be involved! Parents are always the first teachers and educators for their children and we love to see you and be on the same page.
What, in your experience, is the best part about teaching at a Catholic school?
I can use music to highlight and teach our faith, and we can make our community of faith part of our school mission!
Tell us about your family (spouse, children, grandchildren, pets, etc.):
I am married – Mr. Tucksen is also a music teacher! We have two daughters and two cats 🙂
When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
When I was a kid, I wanted to be a ballerina until I realized I hated ballet (I am not a graceful dancer…)
What is your favorite sweet or salty treat?
Cheez-its and Albanese gummy bears.
What is your favorite coffee/drink order?
Hazelnut latte
