Tell us about your educational background & about your teaching/work experience.

What do you love about your job?
I love being a teacher and I love being with my students! They make me laugh every day and can make any day better by their presence. You never know what they’re going to say. I also love teaching in a Catholic school and being surrounded by the values and morals of our Catholic faith.
Who is your favorite Saint or what is your favorite scripture?
St. Joseph the Worker and Saint Monica
Tell us about your family (spouse, children, grandchildren, pets, etc.):
I’ve been married for 22 years to Bryan who is the most amazing, kind, supportive, and patient husband! I have 6 nieces and nephews on my side, 11 on my husband’s side with 33 total great nieces & nephews. We value family and love spending time with them! We are beyond blessed to live two blocks from our two nieces and one nephew, enabling us to be very involved in their daily life. We never miss an activity or sporting event they participate in. We even get to taxi them around, help them study and anything in between, which now includes moving them to and from their dorm rooms and apartments.
When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I have always wanted to be a teacher or a pediatrician, and always a mom!
What is your favorite sweet treat?
Bread pudding or Tiramisu. Dairy Queen!
Do you have any hidden talents or hobbies?
I’m not sure it’s a hidden talent but I can polka and country swing. I can sew, knit and crochet. Hobbies: Attending Morgan Wallen concerts! I also enjoy any activity outdoors: hiking, cycling, swimming, golf, water skiing, snow skiing, and working in the yard. I enjoy baking and cooking. I look forward to the College World Series every year.
What’s your favorite thing to do on the weekends?
I love to spend time with my family and friends! Going back home to visit my mom and aunt fill my cup! Celebrating and decorating for the holidays gives me great joy! I enjoy going for walks, golf, yard work, watching any sport, play, or musical my nieces and nephews are in, and food prep and preservation.
What piece of advice would you give parents to help their child(ren) succeed at St. Stephen?
Always remember that we are a team and care about your children.
