Tell us about your education background & about your teaching/work experience.
Education: Bachelor of Music Education, UNO

Work History: I have taught at St. Stephen the Martyr since 2002 and previously taught at St. Vincent de Paul from 1993 – 1995.

What do you love about your job?
I love teaching my students about different genres of music.

Who is your favorite Saint or what is your favorite scripture?
Joshua 24:2-15

Tell us about your family (spouse, children, grandchildren, pets, etc.):
I have been married to John since 1982. I have 2 children (twin boys), and 4 grandchildren. We have one pet at home – a Weimaraner named, Hugo.

When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to be a veterinarian. I grew up with all kinds of animals – dogs and horses are my favorite.

What is your favorite sweet treat?
Take 5 candy bar

Do you have any hidden talents or hobbies?
I like to cook. I make Sunday night dinner every week for the whole family.

What’s your favorite thing to do on the weekends?
I like to take my dog on walks. I also like to play games with the family. Scrabble and 4 square are two of my favorites.

What piece of advice would you give parents to help their child(ren) succeed at St. Stephen?
Try to keep a daily routine for mealtimes, homework time, chores, and bedtime.
